TestReach Recognised as One of the Leading Online Assessment Platforms in the UK

Press Release - Dublin, Ireland, 4th March 2026

TestReach ranked as second most-used online assessment provider in the MemberWise Digital Excellence 2026 Report

Dublin, Ireland, 4 March 2026 The TestReach, an Irish edtech company, has been named as one of the leading providers of online assessment software to the UK membership sector, according to the recently published MemberWise Digital Excellence 2026 Report.

MemberWise is an independent professional network that provides practical help and support to circa 8,000+ membership and association professionals based in the UK and overseas including in Ireland.

TestReach is focused on harnessing technology to improve the whole assessment experience for both test-takers and examining bodies.

The Report, now in its 10th edition and based on insights from circa. 480 membership and association leaders across the UK and Ireland, reveals that digital assessment has firmly entered the mainstream. Over 54% of membership bodies now conduct formal assessments online, marking a significant tipping point for the sector.

Within the online assessment market, TestReach is ranked the second most-used provider, with 9% sector usage and a 2% year-on-year increase.

Louella Morton, co-CEO and co-Founder, TestReach, said, “The MemberWise Digital Excellence Report is one of the most respected benchmarks in the UK membership sector. To be recognised as the second most-used online assessment provider is a strong endorsement of our work with professional bodies and regulators across the UK and Ireland, including organisations such as The Insurance Institute, the British Council, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.”

The MemberWise Report also highlights a fundamental shift in professional assessment delivery -

  • 88% of membership bodies agree there is a preference for members to be assessed online.
  • 39% are exploring how AI can support online assessment activity.
  • 1 in 3 are actively considering how to counteract AI-related cheating.

The 2026 Report also identifies online engagement, system integration and AI adoption as key sector challenges and priorities. With AI adoption across the sector rising to 26%, assessment providers must now support organisations in delivering secure, robust exam experiences while addressing emerging integrity risks.

TestReach’s platform enables professional bodies, regulators and awarding organisations to deliver exams with integrity using a secure online exam environment blocking access to AI tools, coupled with live remote proctoring provided in-house.

The Report notes that bespoke learning systems continue to decline in favour of industry-standard platforms, a trend mirrored in assessment, where organisations are increasingly seeking specialist, purpose-built solutions.

With sector adoption of online assessment now exceeding 50% and continuing to grow, TestReach’s ranking reflects its expanding role in supporting membership bodies through digital transformation.

Sheena Bailey, co-CEO and co-Founder, TestReach, said, “As online assessment becomes the norm, organisations are looking for partners who combine security, scalability and candidate experience. In response to growing demand for secure online exams, we are continuing to expand our Dublin-based team of highly trained remote proctors, ensuring that our clients can scale with confidence while maintaining the highest standards of exam integrity. We are proud to support the sector as it navigates the next phase of digital and AI-enabled assessment.”

TestReach is headquartered at NexusUCD, the Industry Partnership Centre, in Dublin.
